pukyong university dormitory service is getting worse..
After one year living in dormitory, i thought that this place is worth to live in. although they didn't give much food variation for moslem student to eat, but... at least they always provide fried eggs or fried fish when the menu contain was meet either pork.
But, starting from this semester (unfortunately, my 3rd semester), the food was terrible. For those meets menu compensation, they never provide eggs or fish anymore.. just a few times, i hold my disappointed..
Finally, today, on dinner time, i asked,... "is there any eggs or fish?" because at that time, the menu was meet.. and potatoes.. and that lady (or girl?) said easily,"oh.. we don't have eggs or fish.. but if you want to eat seaweed instead, we can give you. Do you want seaweed?"
With disappointed expression on my face, i said, "No.. " (without saying thank you..^^) and just repeated that lady,"ah.. so there is no fish or eggs.. I see..". Then I went to my seat, start to finished my dinner. with (still) disappointment expression..
Then, when i was just about to finished my meal, (well it's just a few spoon left, anyway), the same lady suddenly came approaching my seat, and gave me a seasoned fried fish (similar with bumbu rujak).
Then, i smiled.. and (finally) i said "thank you.."
Although, it was a little bit sad..
Whenever I think that I paid the same amount of money with other students, but I couldn't get even just for a single simple-fried eggs or fish.
Bad and not wise management of this dormitory, gave me another things that make me hesitate to recommend this place to other students, who want to study abroad.
Well, I still hope that my temporarily judgement is wrong about this place.
Meanwhile..
Lets see what will happen next.
Will I still complain about this.. one episode of my life ?
Is it a challenge... or a hint, a glimpse of clue about my next decision..
let us just see..
^^

free your mind
it's really different..
after i came here, and meet many friends from many culture and nations..
then learn to accept differences.. to be open mind to many possibilities.. differences..
from them, i've learn to free my mind.. though still with direction.
and, the effect is..(and i can feel it)
i can move (i don't have the courage to call it as "dance") more freely..
though i still won't do it to entertain other people..hehe..
just for my self.. enjoying music.. the rhythm
move..
and move...
enjoy it..
enjoy the rhythm..
free your mind
then, you'll move easier..

when you keep going...
it's amazing if you keep going
because if you believe what you've doing is right
and how things change.. when you don't give up
when you give up,
that's when it all stops,
and..
nothing can manifest from it.
but when you keep going,
if what you 're saying
that all that effort which
appeared as a waste effort,
a waste of time,
at the end it will lead somewhere..

our own..
Tonight, i went to a coffee shop, and spent a few hours, just to drink coffee and talk with my friends.. Judith and Tia. Judith, she's Elsavadorian and actually one of maya's decend. I thought they were vanished. but, actually, they became Elsavador peoples..
and i asked her to tell me about Maya's history.. i knew that it was a nation with high civilization back than.. and why it suddenly vanished.
then, she started to tell a story about Spanish people who went to find indian people (America's natives) but then they got lost and arrived at Aztec's area. They got kick out.. and started to move southern, where they met with Mayas. The Spanish bring mirror (at that time Mayas knew nothing about mirror.. it was new for them and think it was a valuable thing, even more valuable than gold) and ask Maya people to trade it with gold, which they had it plenty enough even they can just give it easily. And Spanish started to permit them to use their own culture, from language, and everything.. They started to "teach" Mayas with Spanish language, and their religion.
And she said that she also a little bit embarrassed about the fact that they just trade gold with mirrors. But then she said, it's a fact.. so, she told me just like that.
wow, It's amazing to hear maya's story from maya's (somekind of) decend.
Then, I started to think about my own nation history.. which I knew less.
actually, since i started korean language study last year, it was a bit difficult, and (of course) challenging. so, in order to enjoy it, i started to find out about their culture, their history, and everything that can make me understand Korean people and finally, hopefully, can easily to absorb the language lessons..
But then, the more i get to know about korean, the more i knew that i know less about my country..
well, it's a bit shameful, actually..
but because that, I started to love my country even more.. and decided to learn even more and deeper about my country's culture and history.. which is so.. many.. (not mention that there's so many local culture in Indonesia)..
i love Indonesia

curiosity
now, i'm watching a Korean TV series about forensic doctors life.. how they work, and a few case that sometimes test their idealism as a pathologist. not long from now, I've watched a series about reporter life.. how they work and everything related with reporter life..
I found similarities from those two stories.. it's curiosity. that finally can lead them to find out the truth..
in fact,.. right now, for doing my study i fell that i also need curiosity..
then i might revealed many things and write good (useful) report that can give benefit to others.
so..
curiosity not just killed the cat.
but, it's something i need.
at least right now..
fighting!!

empathy..
what do they think about friendship..?
They didn't try to understand others. In other hand they try to make a conclusion.
But didn't realize that was just an excuse, to make people understand their behavior..
didn't try to understand other people..
now.. I'm confused..T.T

a risk
it is a risk of the path that you choose
you have to deal the consequences by your own
from the smallest to bigger consequences
you are by your own

pendengar budiman...
kapan perlu digunakan?
lalu,
bagaimana cara berbicara dengan orang terdekat.. seperti keluarga??
nah, lho..
saya saja kurang paham..
paling, hanya dapat menjadi tempat berkeluh kesah.. pendengar yang setia. seperti pada masa drama radio di akhir tahun 80an..

Joseon Detective, 조선명탐정: 각시투구꽃의 비밀
This was the first Korean movie that I watch in theater with my own money...
Joseon Detective.. or "Detective K" (I don't really like the English version title)
is tell a story of a reckless but genius detective from Joseon Dynasty, an ancient history of Korea. Almost like Sherlock Holmes, but with Korean style story.. and also, with case solving skills that using ancient chemistry knowledge.
Imagine at that time, they don't have finger prints, camera, or other fancy tools like James Bond had. So, they just rely on evidence and proof it while their live also on risk.
From getting a special order from the King, meet with famous gisaeng
run and hide escaping from villains,
solving several cases by seeing a trace of evidences, and a few funny moment with his accompany friend,...
Good movie..! even my friend who can't understand 100 % of the dialog (cause she also foreigner like me) didn't fall a sleep, and said, "indah!.. it was a good movie. I like it.. many action, and funny.. also good story line"
This movie removed my boredom and I felt entertained.
So.. it's another worth watch movie..hehe ^^
watch movie trailer here
yell it without sound "fighting!!"
GLove.. first movie that I watched on year 2011.. 1st Feb.
One of the reason that I watched this movie because it was free. hehe.. my school payed it for us.. foreigner students who study Korean language during this winter vacation..
But, anyway.. when I heard the story and the actor.. I thought it must be a worth watch movie. Thankfully I wasn't wrong.
Based on a real story, this movie is talk about an athlete who was "a bit" reckless on his life, and made he have to do social work, as a baseball coach on one special high school for deaf kids. Things that looked impossible at the first time..(teaching baseball to deaf kids), but with fighting spirit that those kids had they try and able to play the game as good as other team.
"It's not about you.. your self.. but it's about you and your team. You have to trust your friends and remember, that each of you hold a responsible for other team members.."
Team work..! that's what I learned from this movie.. Something sounds impossible could become possible..
With good act and nice plot.. Another reason why the actors can play quiet good on the movie, was probably because for Korean baseball is almost like Badminton for Indonesian people. So, almost all Korean can play baseball.. and it made this movie much more good.
GLove is a worth watch movie..

another project
ooaah...
last Wednesday, my Prof asked me to help him on one of his project. This project is an ongoing 1 year project. Started from August last year. He said, "I have a project and prof Hong is taking the samples now. I need you to make a histogram of carapace width frequency... So, beside your research, you need to make another paper, as a result of this research. what do you think about this?"
(if it was you, would you refuse on this kind of thing?)
...
I got another project!!... I hope I can do it well. anyway, it's a good chance to get more knowledge.. so, I will try my best on it. Of course I have to rearrange my schedule, read more papers, and so on..
Cause he said that I need to come up with some ideas for this paper. That's why I need to dig more and more...
...

let's just throw it..
buanglah sampah pada tempatnya... (?)
a few days ago, and my lab mates, clean up our study room and our lab.
a few days ago, and my lab mates, clean up our study room and our lab.
it was a long day. mostly because there was so.. many little things that can not be used anymore.. (at least, broken). but many things were useful.. if on the right hand..
but then, they said.. "what's this??.. let's just throw it away.. too many stuff in here.. it looked messy.."
then, i realized.. i need to safe my trap's pipe..
but.. it wasn't there anymore..
when i asked..
"o.. i think i threw it away.. you can find it on trash can.."
... my god...
they even wanted to threw a book shelf.. just simply because.. "it's not use for now.. this thing make this space look smaller..and messy.."
...
is it so easy to throw things away? when somebody else might need it..
oh, well..
=.=
