Thing spread like virus

Yesterday, when I ride home with my bicycle, I felt someone was look at me. She was a lady who has a small shop which I used to go for lunch back in those days before I left to Korea for study. I know her well, so I stopped by and had a small talk with her.
She was surprised to saw me that day. She thought I haven't finished my study in Korea. We exchanged our stories, catching up news. I said sorry for not visiting her earlier. Surprisingly, she was fine with that. She believed that I didn't know she moved he shop to another place (which is right next to her place before). That's why I didn't visited her after I came back. Such a positive lady.
I wonder, that's why her face look younger than her real age. She think positive. She enjoyed her life with her small shop.
I decided to wrap my dinner and went home. On the way home, I felt a positive energy from her. I felt more grateful with my present life. Well, it's true; one positive mind can spread like a virus.
So, think positive, do good thing. Who knows, it'll spread somewhere else.
Like a virus.

Tempo hari aku mendengarkan beberapa lagu-lagu lama. Satu diantaranya adalah lagu Gita Gutawa, yang judulnya Alunan sebuah lagu.

Saat mendengarkan, rasanya seperti familiar, seperti pernah mendengarkan alunan musik seperti itu sebelumnya..

Ternyata, dalam lagu "Alunan sebuah lagu", terutama pada lirik "..kumainkan sebuah lagu..." melodinya sangat mirip dengan sebuah lagu, soundtrack Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the opera, yang berjudul "wishing you were somehow here again". Aku sempat lihat film versi sutradara Joel Schumacher yang dibuat pada tahun 2004.

Satu lagi, lagunya Gita Gutawa juga.. yang judulnya "sempurna" (versi 2). Intro dan musik lagu ini sangat mirip dengan lagunya Bruce Springsteen "Philadelphia".

Coba, deh.. kalau ada waktu luang, dengar dua lagu itu.. sangat mirip..!

a price for democracy

There's a bunch of students who planned to go on field trip. They want to have an nice memory among them, just before they graduated. But, the school asked them to manage their own trip with a few amount of money, especially for their food. Teachers trying to be a democrat person.

So, a few students have an idea to have a barbeque party. They start to talk about the plan, there are so many people with so many ideas, speak and give opinion. Some students have a bit strange habit. They speak with determined-high tone, as if as they angry and they are right. Some students can't afford to hear that high tone. So, instead of give their own opinion and participate in the meeting, they give up and walk away, some said they will follow the result (but, of course with grumbling voice after the meeting finished), some canceled they plan-and don't want to go, some still trying to make things clear and still try to talk and discuss the matter with the rest of student (who haven't give up).

this what happened:

first student, "hey, what do you think about this?... 'cause some of our friend have opinion like this.."

second student, "hh.. it's too complicated. I can't make everyone happy. hh.. I just go with the rest. I don't want to be confused to think about other people. I don't like to be confused.."

third student, "why don't you just split the money, and everybody will happy"

others, "why don't teachers decide what we will do, and i think students will followed the teachers."

But, then again.. it wont be a democracy. So, not every one can afford with democracy.. they can't make a dialog, they can't stand to hear others opinion, and sometimes they are not used to say with brave heart, "ok, then.. I was wrong, I am sorry..". those words are to difficult for them.

well it's a price for democracy that you have to pay. Be brave to give and take and except the differences..

tidak semua orang bisa mengatasi masalah yang berat (dan menekan) kemudian bertahan sampai menemukan jalan keluar. beberapa orang tidak tahan, dan memilih untuk keluar, dan membiarkan orang lain memutuskan untuk mereka. atau, keluar dan tidak mau ambil bagian sama sekali. atau keluar, dan tidak mau membantu memutuskan, dan pada akhirnya kecewa dan menggerutu.

hal ini terjadi di semua bagian dunia..

after their friends waiting for them..

then, just like that, they left their friends who waited for them earlier...

some people don't know what to choose..

whether they have to wait for their friend, or just go ahead because they feel afraid of being late.

many people have a leadership insting inside them. not few people also want's to be a leader. they thought they are right.. ^^

it's remind me of a few type of leadership.

one of those type is they are focusing on target, decided to leave few men behind with hope they will get success.

the others focusing on team work. no matter what, the team have to be together. but, in the end, sometimes they can't achieved the target 100% as they wanted to be.

it depends, on what you think about success..

many people, many heads, many brains, and many hearts...

idea..

an idea came..

don't try to impress everyone. just do what you think is a right thing to do. don't push your self trying to be a "good kid"..

just enjoy life the way it should be.

never regrets..

sometimes things become into something different with what you wanted to be.

things that you see isn't actually the same with the way it being seen.

and sometimes to reach your goal you have to make it become the way you wanted to see..
